Delivery Information

1. Parties and Roles

The Customer orders the product from a foreign Manufacturer. The Manufacturer/Seller is responsible for the product. The Operator, Northbull Imports / North Global Oy, acts as a consultant and service provider, trading platform, order coordinator, and logistics arranger. The Manufacturer is the seller of the product.

2. Operator Services

The Operator provides the following services on behalf of the Customer:

  • Receives payment, performs currency exchange and pays the factory
  • Handles communication and documentation with the manufacturer
  • Coordinates transport, customs clearance, tax payments and delivery to the agreed location
  • Arranges transport insurance
  • Monitors the progress of the order to a reasonable extent

3. Ordering and Payment

  • The Customer confirms the purchase, technical specifications and pays 100% in advance.
  • The Operator starts the ordering and delivery process only after receiving payment.
  • Payments may be delayed due to international banking systems, currency transfers or regulatory checks. Production and delivery timelines begin only after the manufacturer confirms receipt of funds from the Operator.
  • The manufacturer starts production only after receiving full payment for the machine. The Customer understands that due to international banking practices, transfers between countries and banks may take several days. Delays may occur due to weekends, public holidays, internal bank processing times, currency exchange or regulatory checks.

4. Freight Cost Index Adjustment

  • Freight costs may change due to market conditions (for example fuel prices, container costs, port charges or force majeure).
  • When delivery begins, the Operator may charge an additional 10–15% of the actual freight cost if prices have increased, or credit up to 10% if costs have decreased.
  • Freight price adjustments apply only to the freight portion, not to the product price.

5. Delivery Terms

  • Default delivery term: DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) according to Incoterms 2020 unless otherwise agreed. Other Incoterms terms may also be applied.
  • Delivery times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to the manufacturer, transport companies, customs, weather conditions or other third parties.
  • The Customer must provide correct information, be present for delivery and ensure that unloading is possible. Additional costs caused by the Customer (for example failed delivery, storage or redelivery) are the Customer’s responsibility.
  • The Operator has the right to cancel delivery if payments or required information are missing.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Operator is not responsible for:

  • The product’s quality, defects, safety, technical compliance or certifications
  • Actions, delays or omissions of the manufacturer
  • Transport companies, freight forwarders, customs, ports or other third parties
  • Indirect or consequential damages (such as loss of profit, project delays, contractual penalties or reputational damage)

7. Subcontractors

  • The Operator may use third parties (factories, transport companies, freight forwarders, insurance companies, customs representatives).
  • These operate independently and any claims must be directed to them or their insurers, not the Operator.

8. Transport Damage and Insurance

  • The Customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report damage immediately to the transport company or insurance provider.
  • If transport insurance has been arranged through the Operator, claims must follow the Operator’s instructions.

9. Operator Rights

  • The Operator may suspend or cancel orders if the manufacturer cannot deliver or if the Customer fails to provide required payments or information.
  • The Operator may modify these terms by notifying customers (by email, website notice or within an offer).
  • The service may experience interruptions (maintenance, technical issues, cyber disruptions), for which the Operator is not responsible.

10. Warranty and Complaints

  • Any warranty is provided solely by the manufacturer.
  • The Operator is not a responsible party in warranty or complaint processes.

11. Returns and Cancellations

  • All products are manufactured to order according to customer specifications; therefore the statutory right of cancellation or return does not apply.
  • Cancellations or returns require written approval from the manufacturer.
  • The Customer is responsible for all cancellation or return costs (production, administration, commissions, freight, customs duties, repackaging, manufacturer fees).
  • The Operator does not refund these costs.

Force Majeure

The Operator is not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill obligations caused by force majeure, including but not limited to:

  • war, armed conflict, terrorism, piracy, blockades
  • pandemics, epidemics or public health emergencies
  • natural disasters, fires, floods, storms
  • strikes, labor disputes or labor shortages
  • logistics disruptions, customs delays or government restrictions
  • cyber attacks or large-scale system failures

13. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by Finnish law. Disputes are resolved in the District Court of Helsinki. Consumer customers may also submit disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.

14. Acceptance

The Customer accepts these terms by paying the invoice, signing in writing or accepting the terms electronically. Updated terms take effect when published on the website or attached to a new offer.
