Ordering and Payment
Products are ordered from a foreign manufacturer and are generally manufactured or prepared according to the Customer’s order and specifications.
Orders are paid 100% in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing. The ordering and delivery process begins after the required payments, order details and delivery information have been received and confirmed.
International payments may take several business days to reach the manufacturer due to banking procedures, currency transfers, public holidays or regulatory checks. Production and delivery timelines therefore begin when the manufacturer confirms receipt of the required payment.
Delivery and Shipping
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, international deliveries are arranged under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), Incoterms 2020. Other Incoterms may be agreed separately.
Under the standard DDP arrangement, Northbull Imports coordinates the international and domestic transportation, customs clearance and applicable import charges required for delivery to the agreed destination.
Delivery times shown or communicated are estimates. Actual delivery times may be affected by manufacturing schedules, international transportation, customs clearance, port congestion, weather conditions and other circumstances outside our direct control.
The Customer must provide accurate delivery information and ensure that the agreed delivery location is accessible and suitable for receiving and unloading the ordered machine. Additional costs resulting from an inaccessible delivery location, failed delivery, waiting time, storage or redelivery may be charged to the Customer.
Shipping Costs and Freight Adjustments
The shipping cost applicable to the order is based on the estimated logistics costs at the time of purchase.
Because machines are manufactured and transported internationally, actual freight costs may change between the order date and the start of transportation. Market indicators such as the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) may be used as a reference.
If freight costs have increased significantly when transportation begins, an adjustment of 8–15% of the freight portion may apply. If actual freight costs have decreased significantly, savings may be credited up to 10% of the freight portion.
Any freight adjustment applies to the freight portion of the order and not to the product price itself.
Transport Damage
The Customer must inspect the goods when they are delivered. Any visible transport damage should be documented immediately, for example on the transport document and with photographs, and reported without delay.
If transport insurance has been arranged through Northbull Imports, any claim must be submitted according to the provided claim instructions and applicable deadlines.
Warranty, Returns and Cancellations
Product warranties are provided according to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms. Northbull Imports assists the Customer with practical warranty arrangements where applicable.
Products are generally ordered and manufactured according to the Customer’s specifications. Cancellation or return may therefore be restricted and may require the manufacturer’s written approval. Any applicable costs related to cancellation or return are borne by the Customer in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Northbull Imports / North Global Oy operates as the service provider and coordinator of the commercial order and delivery process, including communication, payments, documentation and logistics arrangements. The product is supplied by the foreign manufacturer.
Manufacturers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs authorities and other third parties may participate in fulfilling the order and delivery. Delays or other circumstances outside the Operator’s control may affect the delivery process.
