Ordering and Payment

Products are generally made to order by our manufacturing partners in China according to the customer’s selected configuration and confirmed technical specifications.

The order is paid in full in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing. North Global Oy coordinates the order process with the manufacturer.

International payments may take several banking days due to banking procedures, currency transfers, public holidays, payment intermediaries, or regulatory checks. The manufacturing period begins when the manufacturer has confirmed receipt of the funds required to begin production and North Global Oy has received the information necessary to process the order.

Manufacturing and Delivery Time

Products and machines are generally made to order.

Typical manufacturing time is approximately 10–25 business days, followed by approximately 60–75 business days for international delivery.

The estimated total manufacturing and delivery time is generally 70–100 business days.

Delivery times are estimates. Actual delivery times may be affected by the manufacturer’s production schedule, shipping route, customs procedures, port operations, weather conditions, and other factors affecting international transportation.

Delivery and Transportation

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deliveries are arranged under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Incoterms 2020. Other Incoterms may be agreed separately.

Under a typical DDP delivery, North Global Oy coordinates international transportation, freight forwarding, required shipping documentation, customs arrangements, and final delivery to the agreed destination in accordance with the applicable delivery terms.

The customer must provide accurate and sufficient delivery information and ensure that the agreed delivery location is suitable for receiving and unloading the ordered machine.

If delivery cannot be completed due to incomplete information, restricted access to the delivery location, the recipient’s absence, or similar circumstances, additional costs such as waiting, storage, or redelivery charges may be charged to the customer in accordance with the applicable terms.

Freight Costs and Freight Index Adjustment

The delivery costs applicable to the order are determined based on factors including the product, selected accessories, and delivery address, and are presented to the customer before payment.

Because machines are manufactured to order and transported internationally, actual freight and logistics costs may change between the date of the order and the commencement of delivery.

If the applicable freight and directly freight-related logistics costs increase materially, a 10–15% adjustment may be applied to that portion in accordance with the applicable Freight Indexation Clause.

If the applicable freight costs decrease significantly, savings of up to 10% of the applicable freight portion may be credited to the customer.

Any adjustment applies only to the freight and directly freight-related logistics cost portion. The adjustment is not calculated on the price of the machine, accessories, North Global Oy’s service fee or commission, or the total order value.

Any applicable additional charge will be explained and itemized to the customer before it is charged.

Shipping Damage

The customer should inspect the delivery upon receipt where reasonably possible. Any visible shipping damage should, where possible, be documented on the transport documents and with photographs and reported to North Global Oy without undue delay.

North Global Oy will investigate the matter and, where necessary, coordinate its handling with the carrier, freight forwarder, manufacturer, insurer, or other relevant party.

Warranty, Returns and Cancellations

Manufacturers have their own product-specific warranty terms. The warranty period and coverage may vary depending on the product and manufacturer.

If a warranty claim, defect, or other product-related issue arises, the customer should contact North Global Oy directly. We will investigate the matter and, where necessary, coordinate its handling with the relevant manufacturer or other service provider.

Manufacturer warranty terms do not limit any rights the customer may have under applicable mandatory law.

Because products are generally made to order according to the customer’s selected configuration, they generally do not have a general change-of-mind return right. Any cancellations and returns are handled in accordance with the applicable terms and mandatory law.

Products must not be returned without prior return authorization and return instructions from North Global Oy.

Roles and Responsibilities

Northbull Imports is a machinery sourcing and order service operated by the Finnish company North Global Oy.

North Global Oy acts as the service provider and coordinator of the commercial order and delivery process. The service may include communication with the manufacturer, coordination of orders and payments, documentation, international transportation and freight forwarding, customs arrangements, delivery coordination, and customer support.

The machinery is manufactured by independent manufacturing partners. North Global Oy does not manufacture the products.

Manufacturers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs service providers, insurers, and other service providers may participate in fulfilling an order. North Global Oy remains the customer’s point of contact and, where necessary, coordinates the handling of matters with these parties.
